I’m a Senior UX Designer at Indeed - We help people get jobs!

I work on the Indeed Incubator team, designing a variety of innovative employer and job seeker products in a fast-paced business environment.

I’m proficient at a wide array of product development and design techniques such as conducting user interviews, identify user problems, defining solutions and hypotheses to run A|B test, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers to build new products and features, as well as validating the design solutions through usability testing and A|B tests.

Working in a fast-paced small team, I have strong end-to-end product design skills including identifying users’ pain points, creating user flows, designing wireframes and hi-fidelity prototypes, and conducting lightweight rapid user tests.

Prior to working at Indeed, I was studying at the University of Washington Information School for my Master’s degree in User Experience Design. I love design, and I believe good design can solve real problems and make people's life easier. 

My first Interaction Design internship at VMware has taught me two things: "reflective thinking" and "daring to do". I have been striving to make reflections towards everything I did, sometimes even small things such as a short conversation with my mentor. Reflective thinking fosters me to pay attention to small details in life, and learn from my faults and failures. "Daring to do" is to try all the possible solutions towards a design problem, and find out the best one. As a designer, I really believe that daring to do and reflective thinking are the most important qualities to help me grow.
